    The research isn’t …
The research isn’t accurate, as it all depends on the mothers teaching skills and not the place where the kid learns stuff.

  2. boysie30 Said,

    I was the exact …
I was the exact same way! I remember in 8th grade some boys making fun of me bc I could tell they were looking at me and I was so nervous my head would wobble! I couldnt keep it still no matter how hard I tried. When I had to stand in front of class and recite a poem my whole body was shaking and my voice shook. I was so embarassed! Back then I had no idea what social anxiety was. Luckily after becoming a mother and wife I’ve grown out of alot of it but I still will get very nervous at certain

events like my husbands office christmas party or office dinners. I take xanax for those times and it works wonders!

  4. Shawlamommy Said,

    waking up early all …
waking up early all depends on the parents. I home school 4 kids and we start learning after they are up (on their own), after breakfast and chores. We usually start around 10:30

Can anybody explain how it is, to be homeschooled and do you have to wake up early and stuff please tell me

I’ve been in public school but I have interested in home school but this is my last high school year. Not to mention the fact that both my parents work.

lol ya and I bet you were a complete who doesn’t and never will learn proper social schools, and being closer to yer family… you should already be close with them, go and get some real friends, and how fun must yer life be if school is only about learning? It’s also about having fun.

Home Schooling is much better than Public School.

    home schooler for …
home schooler for 6 yrs now. My rents don’t hold me back from living at all. I have tons of friends who are in the public school system & wish they were homeschooled. I have a hot bf, great friends and the knowledge that there’s more to life (as a kid) than drama queens and jocks. No one has ever picked on me for being homeschooled. I’m in tons of sports where I interact with other kids my age … I’m no where close to being a douche bag but you sure sould like one.

  14. Muratarh Said,

    People often relate …
People often relate anti-social people and homeschooling, I think this is wrong. Frankly, we as young people are curious and adventurous, and I would doubt that homeschooled teens would be restricted to the home, sporting teams or hobby “clubs” are just one example of how to remain socially active, but the biggest resource would be the internet. Having a boring youth is also incorporated into homeschooling, I think this is wrong, as it could be very rewarding, and it isn’t “sitting around”.

  15. Muratarh Said,

    I can imagine …
I can imagine advancing further in my own time, and space then I do at school, some things I already know, and, like I posted before, other students arn’t as accademically level to the average, while I am, an this drags me, and those like myself down. In my own time, I could learn what is in the curriculum, and more, I have a general interest in English, Mathematics, General Science and Computer Programming & IT, and excel at most of these subjects.

  16. Muratarh Said,

    I am 16. I attend a …
I am 16. I attend a semi-private school, and I can tell you that, from what I’ve read and heard that homeschooling would be a much better environment for learning, especially if you have a career path laid out. The majority of my year level do not meet the year level requirements, and will be dropped at the start of next year. Being within the a social society in a school is good, but the education is more important, especially if social status comes first, like it does at my school.

  17. detachedlegs Said,

    No school is to …
No school is to learn. If all you do is grow as a person and not learn you can never go to college. And homeschool prom is when you go to a prom with homeschooled kids from the area. Your parents are not there and you can bring a date. You have a very messed up view of school and homeschoolers.

  18. eldewen Said,

I used to be like …
I used to be like you – I was homeschooled K-8 then public for high school. I’d “learned” C++, German, and a whole bunch about electronics and circuits. Then I got to college and went over the same stuff and realized I didn’t understand a thing back when I thought I was all smart. By homeschooling, you’ll learn way more than in public school in my opinion, plus get a desire to learn, but don’t get too cocky.

  19. Obelisk18 Said,

    nope, COLLEGE is …
nope, COLLEGE is for learning. In school one should always take the easiests classes, to make graduating much easier. SCHOOL is for developing who you are as a person. It’s to create good memories for your youth. Having fun before you have to become an adult and not get to have fun anymore.

And homeschool prom with you mom or dad? I’d rather just not go at all!

  20. detachedlegs Said,

    Homeschooling is …
Homeschooling is not boring and lonely! I had tons of friends when I was in school, the difference is your friends and boyfriends are not there with you during the day to distract you from learning! There is no drama between friends, I never fought with my friends over boys or anything. I did go to the homeschool prom when I was in highschool. Homeschooling does not make you socially retarded, that is a myth.

  21. detachedlegs Said,

    School is about …
School is about learning, I am very glad I never had distractions like cute boys to take my mind off of school. I didn’t have all the drama that goes with public schools. I was not socially retarded, we had friends who were both public schooled and homeschooled. Homeschooling is way more flexible, makes your family closer,

  22. TheJackassftw Said,

    I know dude im 13 …
I know dude im 13 im going back to public for 8th grade aanyone watching this trying to figure out wether to do it or not plz dont it sukz

  23. Obelisk18 Said,

    as someone who has …
as someone who has also went to public school and currently in homeschool, I can honestly say I can agree with you on the best way to educate yourself is through homeschool. However! It’s not the best thing for a kid under the age of 18. I miss all my friends, I miss seeing them. I miss seeing the pretty girls walk through the halls.

And for the statement about Clubs, you have to be 18+ to get into one. For dates, you’d need a real school (not homeschool) to get one.

  24. Obelisk18 Said,

    I’d rather go to …
I’d rather go to real school, see my friends everyday, be able to socialize, have freedom, be surrounded by pretty girls, be around girls who actually are LOOKING for a boyfriend, go to prom and get shot and killed on my senior year…

rather than living a boring and lonely life for the rest of my entire life.

  25. CPSSucks Said,

    Seth12135 – don’t …
Seth12135 – don’t worry what others say – home schooling is a great way to get an education (and a great way to avoid the propaganda that passes for curriculum).
