Readmit: You could …
Readmit: You could try a green house and controll the temperature. The plants your trying to grow probaly only produce the crop during certain temperature ranges. Using a greenhouse could make that temperature all year long if you controll it corectly. If you dont have a greenhouse you could try growing them indoors. Other factors could be lack of pollination and a lot of pests

dear american friends of india
my sincere advise to you all is just try to consume locally,. the produce which is imported will have more pesticide, will be more costly and even health wise may not be suitable for the local season.
so have local fruits and vegetables all year round
thanks and best regardds

Greenhouses, lol.
…
Greenhouses, lol.
Also they probably import crops from the other side of the world where the crop is in season.
people choose for …
people choose for that. i believe it must be very difficult at time but i guess you now that if you choose to live that way. But you can freeze your stuff, i guess.
i am seriouse. And …
i am seriouse. And I also find it hard to belueve that people nowadays can live solely on organic food. It isn’t easy to come by and takes forever to grow.
Are you serieus? …
Are you serieus? oke im 16 and i can tell you its really simple. all species prepare for winter. we wear our coats and trees shed their leaves and bears go into hibernation. plants dont produce in the winter because they die because of the frost. supermarkets have them in the winter because they get the from new zeeland . or from other countries on the southern half of earth because its summer there when its winter here and the other way around.
Okay there’s just …
Okay there’s just one thing I want to know. How come groceries stores have every kind of crop all the time, but when I try to grow them myself they only grow during a certain season. I know it’s because they use chemicals but is there any organic method that can make them grow all the time.
Amen!
Amen!
Organic is …
Organic is important, but NON-GMO seeds is a much more important issue. If you think the chemicals are OK and people are living longer, then explain the MASSIVE cancer problem in the USA and how it began within 5 years of GMO & round up development and implementation. just watch “the world according to Monsanto” here on youtube.
Let me put things …
Let me put things into perspective for you:
The amount of labor that it takes to produce 20 GM apples produces 5 on an organic farm. This is due to many factors including the amount of crops that go bad on an organic farm, the amount of agricultural land, etc. This is totally illogical considering the amount of those who are starving. That number would only increase.
Read up on what you’re eating as well as GM foods. You’ll find that they are perfectly harmless and economic.
You can do a long …
You can do a long term study on ANYTHING in general and find SOMETHING “bad”. Everything around you is said to be a cancer causing agent. The thing is, there’s radiation everywhere; Even your computer is emitting a small amount of radiation. Everyone has a risk of getting cancer.
The majority of the U.S. is eating GM foods. They are fine. In any mass of people you’re bound to find some who have cancer no matter what, even organic foods. The average life span is at an all time high.
Maybe so …
Maybe so nutritionally, but your store bought food is probably GM and also contains residues of pesticides, insecticides, etc which are proven carcinogens and in the long run may ver well cause cancers. Also there has not been a long term scientific study on the effect of GM food as these have not been around that long;again some people claim they are harmless, some say they cause cancer. The bottomline is I do not want to eat food full of pesticides&insecticides and GM food. That’s my preference.
There is no …
There is no nutritional difference between store-bought foods and organic foods.
If you would like …
If you would like to diverge off of the real matter and talk about “loving” your plant and all that jazz, then by all means do so. Just not when it’s not relevant to the debate at hand. Your “love” for your plants serve as no support to your side of your debate; Only a very unintentionally funny bit of insight that has little to no relevance at the topic at hand.
Point blank: If the world went “organic”, the world would have a larger amount of those suffering from starvation.
Again: The only …
Again: The only thing you have provided me with is merely claims.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with store bought foods. We have been eating them for years and yet our average life span remains at that all time high.
I know how organic farming works. I was an avid fan of the organic business until I actually researched the “differences” myself. There are really NO differences besides the agricultural means; Not even nutritional difference. Store-bought foods are harmless.
Also,what do you …
Also, what do you think happens to excess insecticides, pesticides, chemical fertilizers;they flow to rivers, underground polluting our water resources.Pick up any scientific journal to see the extent of pollution due to this type of farming, you asked for evidence,it’s out there in front of you if you want to see it.Most importantly,in organic farming you can do it alone without depending on any products from corporations.Yes,it’s labor intensive, but it’s a labor of love. Many other things,no space..
Dude,growing …
Dude, growing organic food is not just about money;it may be hard for you to understand this as you seem to be the type who looks at everything from a bottomline perspective.Organic is much more than making more money than food grown with chemical farming. The most important aspect is the soil, your type of farming treats soil as dirt to hold the plants in place, for organic grower soil is alive with countless organisms, you don’t try to kill them, you try to use them in your favour. This is just one.
There’s nothing …
There’s nothing wrong with store bought foods and produce. The average life span is higher than it ever has been, and I’m pretty sure the average person is actually EATING the harmless commercial foods and not paying $4 more for a apple.
Well at least …
Well at least provide evidence on your part. I’ve supported my side of the issue, yet the only thing you can do is to insult me by calling ME a sham and crying about how I’m wrong, without any evidence on the contrary.
In America, if one has an opinion, one is allowed to speak it, and thus I shall speak it.
What I think is that you don’t want to hear the ugly truth that you are wasting all of that excess money. Go on and waste all of that cash if you want. Just know there’s a better way.
