excellent video! On ...
excellent video! On the medic kit- medic tape and band-aids are complete garbage, they do not last and disappear fast! You NEED rock climbers tape! You can find it at REI or other climbing suppliers. One roll lasts me over a month and I use it five days a week on my hands and finger tips at work. It stays in place all day and longer even through multiple hand washings! Give it a try and let me know what you think. Also a hand crank AM/FM radio.

junglelover287b: ...
junglelover287b: Mausers a a great rifle but I must respectfully disagree. If that's the best rifle you've got, great, but their are plenty of rifles that are more mobile / liter and more importantly it's an uncommon round. If you can, you should take something that's chambered in a round that alot of people (like the Army) has so you have a better chance of resupllying yourself if needed. Just my opinion.

SendARope: Just a ...
SendARope: Just a heads up.... I don't know if you've tried out that machete yet, but I bought that same one and the first time I used it I got about 20 min. of work out of it before it became dull and bent to the point of not being usable. I'd highly recommend upgrading to a US surplus one (I've used them, they rock, but they're a good bit heavier) or a brand name. I did get a cheap no name folding saw for $6 and I've been out with it 3 time now and it's a champ, plus it's very lite.

Hey sendarope! ...
Hey sendarope! Great video. However, your mention of winter suggests you live in the tropics. Up here in Northern Michigan, you are not going to be bugging out into the woods into 5 feet of snow and below zero temps. Visit my site to learn how to survive where you live. Good job though.
