8 eggs
 
1/2 cup Thrive Bacon TVP
 
1 cup grated Cheese {used Swiss in the video, again, use what you like!}
 
1/3 cup diced red onion
 
1/3 cup chopped green onion or chives
 
Salt & Pepper
 
1/4 cup half & half
 
In a medium mixing bowl, crack eggs and whisk
 
Add all other ingredients, though reserve some cheese for the top
 
Place mixture into a greased, pie dish
 
Top with remaining cheese, and bake at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes 
 
*Other ideas not used in video: Thrive Red & Green peppers {or fresh}, Thrive or Fresh Mushrooms, Green Chilies, Sausage

    I have a slightly different version of this recipe that is so good to make in a dutch oven, but I think I’ll still try replacing some of the ingredients with Thrive stuff and see how it turns out.

    I have lived overseas for nearly 5 out of the last 6 years. In every country I have purchased my eggs off of an unrefrigerated SHELF down an AISLE in the supermarket. I know, weird!

    I then store them for days and days in my pantry and it ain’t no thing out here. It’s what people do! Though most people at some point do whack them into the fridge.

    Not sure why we’re bred with refrigerated eggs in the US, but it’s not the norm elsewhere.
