Milk jugs are meant as a consumer product and will not store for very long, better to go with 2 litter bottles.

I drink wellwater that is not chlorinated, and he said dont store water chlorinated because its already chlorinated but thats assuming its tap water, how much chlorine should I use per liter, anyone know? I saved TONS of thick plastic juice containers I want to fill, but I might NEED to chlorinate it because mine is not chlorinated, anyone know?
You need to add …
You need to add about 4 drops (1/2 tsp)of non scented household bleach to every gallon of water. Make sure that the container you use is VERY clean. So figure out the size of your container and adjust accordingly.
Milk jugs yes but …
Milk jugs yes but it is far easier to insure the cleanliness of a 2liter bottle(2LB) that you just emptied. If you don’t drink enouough soda? Collect bottles where you can and follow the steps he mentioned. I have a chest freezer I clean 2LB and store them in there if we buy a lot of food to store we simply place the F2LB elsewhere. Why ice4chest and hurricanes zap power food is still good a week out of power b/c we store 2LB of water/ice in the freezer 7 days later still frozen.
