It is really …
It is really important to have “morale” Food items stored up. Stuff like jam, mayo, mustard, ketchup,SALT(especially salt) Home made syrups etc. These things are really important to have on hand. These are “luxury” items and will help to keep a persons morale up. Spices and herbs are right up there on the morale list for me. A person would be amazed at how good a pot of beans and rice can taste with herbs and spices. You bring up a really good point, so I thought I would comment on that.
very good thanks

Iodized salt is …
Iodized salt is also important. That is the only source, other than tablets, for this. Dont forget garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Grow your own herbs and dry them. And it would be good for bartering.
On a scale of: I’m …
On a scale of: I’m camping/very hungry to I’d eat these things often… I’ve found these kind of recipes start out on the low end and then turn pretty good once I add my personal tastes to it. I used to think that all food beyond meat was complex but simple things like this were a good way for me to pick up basics that I can always go back to if I run out of the add-on stuff. I’m looking forward to converting this one into hushpuppies like long john silvers has. I love those!
People should also …
People should also cycle out and rotate their stored edibles. If you have a good amount stored, then just replace what you will use and consume the oldest items first. It’s important to keep things as fresh as you can and to rotate your stock.

I am so glad you mentioned the cinnamon. Every time I see someones survival style food storage I can’t imagine how depressed they are gonna be after a few weeks of plain beans and soaked rice. having a good supply of basic seasonings is very important.
I have had the …
I have had the powdered eggs quite a few different ways, and they are pretty good. If you do them scrambled with some diced ham or some veggies you would not even know the difference. Those are the kind of things you would miss if you had to go without.

Honeyville sells powdered/dehydrated eggs, milk, and they also have dried fruits. they sell by the can or case.
Bob’s Red Mill has some cornmeals and wheats.
MREdepot has some decent stuff to, some with shelf life 15-17 years. they sell by case, half case and some single can items.
Do you have any …
Do you have any vids on how to cook with scrambled egg mix (powdered/dehydrated)? Also, I’d like to see some vids on how to bake bread with stored wheat and a wood burning stove. Could you possibly do something like that for the viewers here?

maybe if you let your batter soak than it wont matter so much if the corn isn’t so finely ground? IDK
