Fast Food For Health Nuts

By Jason Courie

Fast Food For Health Nuts Fast food doesn't always have to mean stopping by the closest fast food restaurant and buying a high fat, low nutrition burger and fries. Let's face it, most of us are always trying to eat something on the run that is cheap, fast and convenient. In many cases we have children with us, so that could double or even triple the cost. Salads are at most fast food restaurant but they get old after a while and let's face it, how many kids eat salads? Not many. Even a fast food meal can be quite expensive. Let's take a family of four for instance. You go to your local fast food restaurant, order two adult meals and two kid's meals and you've spent twenty five bucks.

More than likely there is not much nutrition in these food items. Why not treat yourself to a nice warm bowl of chicken or tomato soup. Not just any soup. This soup has seventeen grams of organic whey protein, in each serving, ionic trace minerals which are the best minerals on the planet and can be digested very easily, vitamins and an enzyme delivery system that allows your body to absorb more of the nutrients and store less as fat. This soup also contains omega-3 which is key in keeping your heart healthy. How does this soup taste with all of these nutrients in it YUCK? This is some of the best soup I have ever put in my mouth. It is also fast and easy to make and costs about two dollars a bowl.

You will get more nutrition from this one bowl of soup than you probably get in all your meals combined all day. Getting enough high quality protein is extremely important for maintaining lean muscle mass and losing body fat. Minerals are extremely important, without them our organs would not function properly and our immune systems would not fight off disease and illness. Minerals also support the absorption of vitamins which are key for healthy hair, skin, nails and bones. Not all minerals are equal though.

Rock based minerals are harder to absorb than plant based minerals so ionic trace minerals which are in these soups are digested very easily. As we get older our body produces fewer digestive enzymes and that's why more of the food we eat is stored as fat. So having an enzyme delivery system in these soups as well is extremely important for weight management. These high quality, yet inexpensive soups aren't the only thing that you can eat for a fast, healthy meal. There are chocolate and vanilla protein shakes and bars that have the same nutritional content as the chicken and tomato soup. Both of these products are easy to make.

I put two scoops of protein powder in a tupperware shaker, mixed with eight ounces of cold bottled water, shake and it's ready to drink. For the soups I boil or microwave eight ounces of water until it starts to boil, add two scoops of the soup mix, stir and it's ready in seconds. As for the protein bars, just whip one out, take off the wrapper, and they're ready to eat. You have to be careful with them though because they're so delicious that it's easy to eat two or three of them at a time. They taste just like candy bars.

Remember all of these products contain seventeen grams of high quality organic whey protein and high impact vitamins and minerals for about half of what a fast food meal cost. There is one more snack or meal that I want to talk about. It's called a slim cake. Slim cakes are very high in fiber and also contain protein, vitamins and minerals. They are kosher as well. Most people do not get enough fiber in their diet and this leads to irregular bowels and sometimes even constipation.

This can be very dangerous. When digested food is stored in the intestinal tracks for a long period of time you run the risk of toxins and chemicals seeping into the blood stream through the cell walls and vascular system. This can lead to colon cancer, liver cancer and other internal health issues, so it is very important to eat plenty of fiber and keep yourself regular. It is important to make sure you are getting the proper nutrition in your diet and that goes for your kids as well. We need to start teaching our kids about proper nutrition and providing them with the proper nutrition instead of waiting until they are over weight and sometimes even obese and then it is a real struggle to try to get the weight off then. Give you and your kids a fighting chance.

Fast food can be cheap, easy and still taste good. To read more about these products and how to keep you and your kids lean and healthy visit my web site at www.healthandfitnessforall.com.
