Prepared #4 – Essential Equipment (Preparedness series)

The forth my series of how-to videos aimed at helping beginners get to grips with the idea of emergency preparedness.

A very basic equipment list:

All of these items should be quickly available to you in a crisis:

Torches (including LED wind-up)
Spare Batteries
Radio
Wet wipes (preferably anti-bacterial)
FFP3 masks (organic vapours)
Hand sanitizer
Disinfectant
Standard thin bleach (5% hypochloride)
Camping stove or alternative cooker
Tin / Can openers
Fire extinguisher
Plastic / polythene bags
Suppy of medications
Baby supplies (nappies/diapers/formula)
Pet food & essentials (if needed)
Important douments in a sealed bag
Cash / currency
Warm clothing
Good comfortable/sturdy footwear
Matches (waterproof)
Notepad/pen
Games (board games, cards etc)

Survival: Basic Snare Trap For Small Game

Demonstration of a simple but effective trap for catching small animals for food. This is your most basic snare.
